RPC's focus affirmed: Racial Wealth Gap Report

June 26, 2017

In April, Eric K. Foster, Rende Progress Capital (RPC) Co-founder, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager and Lavanya Mohan, Research Associate at the Aspen Institute discussed RPC's launch and its innovative system to merge racial equity into alternative lending considerations to Excluded Entrepreneurs who face barriers to traditional financing because of bias.

Given that one of the many goals and values of RPC's mission, values and process in its future lending to Excluded Entrepreneurs is to strengthen business opportunities as a means to break the racial wealth gap, Ms. Mohan provided RPC with Aspen's "Bridging the Divide:  How Business Ownership Can Help Close the Racial Wealth Gap" as a reaffirmation for RPC's alignment with resources such as Aspen's services and research to assist organizations who promote economic equity via business opportunities.

As allies, partners and investors of RPC's mission, please feel free to download the Aspen Institute's  "Bridging the Divide:  How Business Ownership Can Help Close the Racial Wealth Gap" and learrn more about how wealth is linked to entrepreneurship and recommendations to enhance wealth opportunities for Latinos and African-Americans.
