A Grand Rapids Business Journal summer news article profiled Rende Progress Capital (RPC) and its new investment partnership with the Grand Rapids Community Foundation to eliminate the racial wealth gap through entrepreneurship by providing racial equity-oriented lending, investments and services.  In addition to reporting on the origins of RPC's creation and unique mission to eliminate the racial wealth gap through financing businesses owned by entrepreneurs who are excluded from conventional lending due to real or perceived racial bias, the Grand Rapids Business Journal article reported on the compelling story and conditions of racial exclusion in small business lending that led to RPC's creation as the only Loan Fund and emerging or existing racial-equity oriented Community Development Financial Institution.
