Organization: Rende Progress Capital Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan serving West Michigan and the counties of Kent, Kalamazoo, Muskegon, Ottawa/Holland, and Wayne. Rende Progress Capital (RPC) is seeking a dedicated and strategic professional to lead our capitalization activities and manage day-to-day operations for fund development and investor relations. Working independently as well as in close collaboration with the Chair/Managing Director and the Board of Directors, this crucial role drives our financial growth. Responsibilities include funder and investor research, proposal development, fund acquisition, CRM database management, and ongoing communication and engagement with RPC investors. Who We Are: RPC is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) through the U.S. Treasury CDFI Fund, as well as a loan investment fund. We provide small business loan investments and comprehensive technical assistance to businesses throughout West Michigan—including Kent, Kalamazoo, Muskegon, Ottawa/Holland, and Wayne counties. As an award-winning and impactful CDFI, we are dedicated to closing the wealth gap and eliminating systemic barriers to capital, empowering underrepresented and underinvested small businesses to scale and expand their revenue. Candidate Qualifications: Experience: At least 4–6 years of professional experience in fund development, with a proven track record in funder cultivation, research, and the successful acquisition of private and public grants/funds. Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including professional presentation capabilities. Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of project management tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. Work Style: Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with high-level funders, self-manage complex tasks, and collaborate seamlessly with RPC staff and leadership.
